Hey, guys. I’m coming back to NTI for a second tech presentation on February 22, and I need to assign you a little bit of homework.
We are going to build on our digital media skills by creating our own videos using free tools and royalty free web services.
But before we can do that, I need you to write a script!
Your video will be comprised of two portions: a script you record as an audio file and photos and videos we find on the web. Since we’ll mainly be working in class on finding photos and videos for remixing and learning how to edit video, we’ll need to do our writing ahead of time.
So, write a short (less than 2 minute) script where you tell us something you know.
The topic can be anything in the world, but I suggest you focus on something broad so that you can find a wealth of images to go along with your video.
For example, writing about your grandmother’s quilts might be a bad idea since you’re unlikely to find any appropriate pictures or videos. However, writing about quilting in general may be broad enough to turn up some cool sources.
So, NTIers, what are you an expert on? Bring your scripts on February 22, and we’ll make a video.
